BlytheCon 2009

Whoa, Blythes! Glad you had fun!
Beautiful tatooo and dolls
Yeah, it was great! I'm so sad that we missed each other by only a little drive. I guess it just wasn't meant to be... But I do know we'll meet someday. =D
They really were all very special. I feel so happy that I was able to experience everything you see in the photos. I hope I get to do it all again. n____n
[this is good]
great photos, lovely blythes
Thank you! I'd love to have another opportunity to take photos of that many Blythes again. It was so much fun.

Thanks sweetie! <3

Wow!!! That looks so cool! I'm so happy to hear you had the greatest time ^_^
BTW did anyone count the Blythes?

Ooh, and you met Rebecca! and Sherri, and Gina and and and... *sigh*
I would hit an overload! Last time I met so many people I adored online in the real world it took me a day to get over my nerves to open my mouth! (TG it was a long weekend :-D )

And you won a reroot!!! Yay for you!!! ^_^ (I sure will be checking out your flickr for more photos)
A lot of people tried to count the Blythes. Someone said there were about 250 dollies in the group photo. I don't know how many were at the event in total since not all the dollies made it out for the photo!

Yeah, I've been wanting to meet Rebecca and Sherri for a long time. It was such a dream to finally see them in person. I had met Gina a few months earlier at a smaller Blythe meet and it was nice catching up with her. She said some really interesting things about Blythes in the Q&A part of the con.

The reroot should be fun for me, but I'm putting it off for a while since I don't exactly have a doll I can have Effie work on right now. =\ She said she can just reroot a scalp, but I like having an entire idea in mind for a custom girl... I'll have to think about it for a while. No worries-- I'll make a post when I eventually get a custom done!
OMG that looks and sounds like it was more fun then you would think all those like minded people with wall to wall BLYTHE stuff and a Q&A part I would have loved to have go to it and soak it all in. But as long as you had a great amount of fun and got to see things you never saw before or sparked ideas in your head and may be even picked up something at the Q&A it makes the whole thing so worth while! I am jealous.
and I also thought I had already posted something here but apparently I have been missing doing a lot of post!
Anyway Question How many Blythe are enough??? (it is a trick question)
Yeah, it was 100 times more fun than I imagined it would have been. I had been dreaming about attending a huge convention like that for the longest time!

I was more impressed with the Q&A part of the event than I thought I would be. People asked so many interesting questions that I had never even thought of. I feel like I have more of an inside scoop on the whole Blythe scene now. xD

Answer to your question: No number of Blythes is enough! Mwa hahahaha.
I sure wish I could go sometime. So many cute dolls in one spot...a toy heaven!
I hope you get to go someday, too. It would be so much fun meeting you in person. I'm really hoping that the coordinators decide to have a BlytheCon next year... There was talk of not having another one because of how much work that has to go into it. So sad!
i was so excited while reading your post, because i can relate to your feelings so much. I am glad you have met so many wonderful people! it must have been a wonderful experience!
Well, if they don't, maybe there will be some kind of dolly meet in the future where we can meet.
I read this the day you posted it and intended to comment, but didn't for some reason. >.< Actually, my mom and I both read it! She was interested in hearing how the con went and loved experiencing it with you, as did I! You're such a fantastic writer that the reader really gets a well-rounded sense of your experience.

I can tell from the photos you had a very memorable time which makes me smile from ear to ear because if anyone deserved to go to the first BlytheCon, it was you! You have such a passion and love for dollies that I know you appreciated as much as any rabid Blythe fan could. :)

Thanks for sharing your experience, hon! I'm hoping one day it'll be held in Los Angeles!! <3

Well dear, Its awesome. i was so excited while reading your post, because i can relate to your feelings so much. I am glad you have met so many wonderful people! it must have been a wonderful experience!
It was so cool to hear that both you and your mom read about my BlytheCon experience. It's one of those things that I wanted to share with all of my dolly friends since not everyone was able to make it. I hope you both had fun living through the experience with me! ^______^

And thank you for the compliment about my writing. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting rusty because I don't blog as often as I used to. ^^;;

I really did feel special after going through the entire experience. In a way, I feel like dollies are both a hobby and a part-time job for me since I'm so involved 24/7. I can't imagine NOT having dollies in my life!

Oh, and I totally agree with you-- I hope a future BlytheCon will be held in LA... I'm sure the weather will be much nicer than it was in Georgia, and there are so many places I would want to visit while I was there. n___n
Thank you so much! I'm so happy I could share my experience with you and so many other dolly people. ^__^ I wish I could have tied a camera to me so I could have recorded the whole thing. If I could, I would have documented the entire experience, minute by minute, so you would know exactly what went on during the trip. <3 But I'm glad that I could share this much with you so you could kind of live through it all, too.
so pretty tattoo is it permanent?
That looked like some much fun! I wish I could of gone. Thanks for posting your photos!
Yup, the tattoo is permanent!
I'm so happy I could share my experience with you and everyone else who was unable to go. <3 I hope you get to attend something like it someday! ^__^

I loved reading about your experience.
