Introducing my mum to Vox!

I often post photos of Beth and Kathleen on my blog, but I've never had the pleasure of posting photos of my mum. <3 She is the reason for my being and is the source of all my creativity. She has taught me and pushed me in amazing new directions...

I took this photo of my mom this last weekend. She wanted some pretty photos taken of her around the house with all of her beautiful flowers and trees to give away to some special family members. (She's a fantastic and talented gardener.) I was happy to help her with this project, and I especially loved editing all of the photos. I'll try to post those at a later time.

Mom, I'm sure you'll see this since you read my blog every now and then. When you do, just know that I love you!

I agree. A few years ago, I realized that I had taken my mom for granted for so long. From then on I made sure to always, always keep every decision she made in mind. She's such a good and kind-hearted person, the most selfless individual I've ever known. Every single thing she does is for the benefit of other people, and I think just recognizing this shows how much I'm thankful for my mum. <3

Thanks to everyone! Of all the photos I took, this one was my favorite. Heh, my mom almost looks magical with the lighting and shimmery feel to it. It was the perfect way of showing how I see her through my own eyes.

I really would like to mention my mom more on my blog. I really don't know why I haven't a lot in the past... I guess that my second year on Vox coming up will be the perfect opportunity to tell a little bit more about my mum and all of her loves-- especially flowers! Tee hee.

She actually told me she visited my blog and saw the post I made about her the other day, and she really loved the photo. I just gave her prints of a bunch of the photos I took. She just loves everything!
