Update: The Heart Day packages are being sent out in two batches. The first batch consists of everyone who lives within the states, and it was sent out this last Saturday. Several people have already written to me to let me know that their gifts arrived.
The second batch is made up of everyone outside of the states (which includes places from all over the world, like Thailand, Russia, Hong Kong, Canada and so many more!). This international batch will be sent out this week.
I'd like to ask everyone who particpated in this event to let me know that their packages arrived safely. You can either leave me a comment, send me an email or drop me a private message. I just want to make sure everything worked out for you.
Thankies to everyone who participated in my little Heart Day event here at Vox. For some reason, I didn't think there would be a huge turnout, but boy, was I wrong! As the first few days and then week or so passed by, I realized that I should have known better, haha.
I have to be honest, too. Receiving so many great comments, emails and private messages probably had to make up the best bunch of Valentines I've ever received. So many thanks are going out to everyone who sent such sweet words. ^____^
Heart Day has come and gone (very quickly), but I just wanted update everyone on how the whole process went. Due to the crazy and horrible Wisconsin weather I've had to deal with for the past month or so, I had to delay a lot of the happenings for the event. Since so many Voxers expressed an interest in getting a little card, I had to make sure that every expectation was met. ^^;
I had all my Valentine Day cards, but what I really wanted to do was include a small gift to each person. Of course, the gifts couldn't be any old objects laying around! They had to be totally and completely kawaii. In order to do that, I made a special trip to my "local" Sanrio (which is about an hour away from my house). Bad news soon hit me hard, because I found out that my beautiful, lovely and much needed Sanrio store was gone. All that was left in place of my Hello Kitty Haven were empty walls, no lights and a huge iron gate. *cries* I was devastated. Not only did I not have a place of kawaii to go to every now and then when I needed it most, but I started to worry about where I would find my presents for Voxers.
After a lot of thinking, I decided to go to another store that had a Sanrio section. I was extremely grateful for the chance to redeem my kawaii standing, tee hee. By last Saturday, I finally had all of the gifts, so it was time to write out the cards and package everything up.
Everyone will be happy to know that not only will they be receiving a very adorable Heart Day card, but they will also be getting a small kawaii gift-- and everything is packaged in a very stickered-up envelope! *grin* I had so much fun personalizing each and every package. With over 35 people who participated in this event, over $150 was put towards Heart Day this year. I figure that this amount equals out what is usually my December/Holiday event anyway, so it all evened out in the end. Yays.
The gifts range anywhere from small notepads to sticker sheets to little booklets to small stationary sets. I tried to make sure that everyone received an equal amount of gift-giving. ^o^
Even through all of the bad weather and the disappointment of the disappearance of Sanrio (which I'm still mourning), I'm very happy with how this event turned out. I really hope that I could help spread the kawaii love at this time of the year.
Please note: As for everyone who was interested in sending me back a present, I thank you very, very much. I might be sending out an email to everyone who asked for my address, but if you're still interested in sending me a letter/package, you can always refer to the envelope I sent to you, which has my new, spanking P.O. Box address. I'm now an owner of my very own mailing address. This is very exciting for me.
To make up for my absence during the December holidays, I decided that I wanted to make up for my lack of cards and gift-giving by sending out something for the next holiday: Heart Day!
I have to be honest. I'm not really one to celebrate something like Valentine's Day. Even Shawn and I don't go out of our way to get each other extravagent gifts. My feeling on the subject is that if you care about someone, you'll show him/her that type of love all year 'round. With that said, I have to be a hypocrite and change my beliefs around this year.
I feel like I missed out on a lot of the holiday fun. Everything seemed a bit dull this year because of all the work I was wrapped up in-- no fun! To spice up my life and the Vox atmosphere a bit, I'd like to offer a little Valentine to anyone that reads this post. ^__^ I've even stocked up on a ton of kawaii cards for my friends this year, which is something I haven't done in many years.
This invitation is open to everyone, whether you're in my Vox neighborhood or you aren't, whether we know each other or not. I think that Heart Day is a great time to get to know both old and new friends.
If you're interested in having a pretty Valentine sent to you within the next few weeks, you need to do two things:
-
Leave me a comment in this post and let me know you're interested. (Depending on emails alone in the past has proven to be troublesome, so an extra note in a comment always helps!)
-
Send me an email (milkeyes@gmail.com) and provide the following:
Your Vox Name:
Your Real Name (first and last):
Your Address:
Once I have this information, I can go ahead and send you a fun Valentine. (I'm still trying to think of a little gift I could send along with each letter. Hopefully, I can think something up before Heart Day gets here.)
If you're not interested in having a letter sent to you, it's no problem. ^^ Just know that I wish you a happy Heart Day 2008. Try to remember that Heart Day isn't about being in a relationship or being part of a couple; it's about loving yourself and those around you. Heart Day is about brilliant independence just as much as it's about sharing your time with a loved one. That's what I've learned throughout the years.
Anyway, I hope to hear from some of you Voxers. I'd love to spread a lot of love around this time of the year-- as much as possible! ^0^

Thankies to everyone that entered my Kawaii at Vox annivesary raffle! The event was extremely successful. Before I get to the results, I'd like to talk a little about what my experience has been like here at Vox, and I'd also like to show how much has happened in the past year-- through me, a person, and through a website as wonderful as Vox.
A year ago, one of my best friends, Celena, wrote about switching over to a new blogging site in a Livejournal post. (Yes, I used to be an avid LJ fanatic!) I was curious about the site called Vox and wrote an email to her to ask for more information about it. She immediately sent me an invite, and I got down to business, meaning, I had to pick the aboslute perfect name for my brand new blog. The cool thing about starting up with a site that's in its beta version is that all the names that a person wants at a site that has been up for years will most likely be available at a new website, like Vox. Sure enough, the name "Kawaii" was available-- I snatched that baby up.
I had picked up the term "kawaii" from a lot of my dolly friends. We're all into the same cute things: dollies, vinyl toys, Sanrio (Hello Kitty), adorable stationary, etc. I figured that "kawaii" could somehow bring together everything that made me happy in life. According to Wikipedia, kawaii is "cuteness has become a prominent aspect of Japanese popular culture, entertainment, clothing, food, toys, personal appearance, behavior, and mannerisms. Foreign observers often find this cuteness intriguing and sometimes strange because the Japanese employ it in a vast array of situations and demographics where, in other cultures, it would be considered incongruously juvenile or frivolous (for example, in government publications, public service warnings, office environments, military advertisements, and commercial airliners, among many others)."
Through the alias, Kawaii, I've been able to grow as a Vox member by expressing myself, sharing my interests with others, and learning new aspects of cuteness through other members. As I've continued to post in my blog, I've been able to share many parts of my life that aren't so cute, which has allowed me to come into my own as an individual more than anyone may ever know. So for this, I thank all of my Vox friends who have given me the privilege of sharing their lives with me, and allowing me to share personal parts of my life with them in return.
I've never been able to chart my life in such detail before. In fact, I don't think I've ever grown so much in just one year! The Narcissist in me won the rest of me over and decided to pull together a collage of photos to show how I've changed from August 2006 to August 2007. Although I may look the same on the outside (for the most part), looking at all the photos together makes me realize how much I have changed, on the inside and outside. I feel good about myself because I know I'm finally an adult in the working, blogging and friending (heh) world-- the real world.

My appearance and inner self isn't the only thing that's been slowly evolving. My actual Vox blog has been, too. ^__^ The beta version of Vox didn't allow its users to use their own banners to design blogs, and even without that option, I found that I was able to express my personality through the templated designs. Knowing that I can look back at Vox and my life, and combine the two together to show how much we've grown, is a pretty cool thing.

The main goal I had with this blog was to share the fun and creative parts of life with other people, whether the people were friends or strangers. That's why this anniversary event was so meaningful to me. With this event, I was able to actually share, in a physical way, bits and pieces of what I've shown you through the internet. Over the year, I've shown you my dolls, vinyl toys, photography, cute pieces of stationary, and other miscellaneous items. I hope that this event allows all of you, whether you're the winners of the raffle or not, how important it is to have fun with life-- be colorful, be creative, take photos like crazy, look at the positive even in the pinnacle of negativity. Like I say in my video (several times, I think), you guys are awesome.
And without further delay (as if this entry wasn't enough), here are the winners of the Kawaii at Vox anniversary raffle!
I wasn't planning on doing a video to announce the winners, but there seemed to be an interest for another raffle video, so I went ahead and did the drawing of winners that way. ^^ So people who can't view the video still know who the winners are, here's the list:
First Place: Maggie, extraordinarilynice
Second Place: Jen, tristessa
Third Place: Cindi, cynddylan
Fourth Place: Ayana, sillyani
Fifth Place: Cindy, mms0131
Again, congratulations to all the winners! I really hope you enjoy all of your prizes. I will be contacting you within the next two days (probably on Sunday) with an email of congratulations and questions about addresses and wrist sizes (for the bracelets). I will hopefully be able to send out the packages early this week. ^_____^

Over 143 posts have been made, 488 photos have been uploaded, and 360 neighbors have been added to Kawaii in the past year. And in all the chaos of blogging, a lot of love has formed! Today (August 3rd) marks the one year anniversary of my Kawaii blog here at Vox, and to help celebrate the occasion, I've planned another fun event that any Voxer can join. ^___^ The event will take place from August 3rd to August 10th, so while the contest is running, I will not be making any new posts to my blog. In order to be eligible for this event, please read all of the rules provided below.

How to Enter
This is a raffle that I have put my whole heart into, so keep in mind that there is no cost or penalty to enter this event whatsoever. The only real "rules" for this event are that 1) you must be a Vox member, and 2) you must follow the steps below:
-
Read the entire post over so you know exactly what's going on. ^^
-
If you decide to participate, leave a comment in this post with your email address, and tell me that you're joining. (You can scramble your address if you want, since I know people worry about receiving spam mail.)
-
Copy and paste this form and fill out the following information in an email to milkeyes@gmail.com
-
Name (first and last):
-
Vox URL:
-
Are you in Kawaii's neighborhood?
-
A raffle number (or numbers) will be sent to you, so keep track of what number(s) you have.
-
Tell your friends about the raffle! (As more people enter the raffle, more prizes will be added to the first place winner's package.
-
Watch for the results on August 10th.
I'll be keeping a list of those who enter with the comments that are left. (Please leave the requested comment. I want to make sure I get everyone's email and make sure none get sent into my junk box. I can keep a running tally this way.)
Every member of Vox may enter this raffle, whether he/she is in my neighborhood or not. Those of you who are in my neighborhood will have the special bonus of getting two raffle numbers entered just by following the directions. Even if you aren't interested in the prize itself, there's bound to be a relative or friend who would appreciate these gifts.
You will not be charged with any shipping. The only people who should be aware of putting money into this are those of you who are not within the United States. I am not responsible for any shipping taxes that outside countries give to those who receive packages. I will be shipping the prize out by Priority mail (if you're within the states) or EMS (if you're outside of the country). If you're not comfortable with accepting a gift that may hold you responsible for taxes, simply don't enter. ^_^
*Keep in mind that I will not ask for every person's personal address. I will only be asking for the winner's address and will contact him/her through email once the raffle is over. I am a respected and honorable member of the Vox community and I will in no way hand out your personal information to any other sources. I would never jeopardize my friendships with those here at Vox. Again, if you don't feel comfortable with the possibility of giving out your address, please do not enter. If you want some kawaii fun though, please read on!
What the Winners Will Receive
Unlike my past Kawaii at Vox events, this event has multiple winners. So, not only do you have a chance at winning free kawaii prizes with free entry, but you have an even better chance of winning because of the high number of winners there will be!
Every single winner will automatically win a <3 Vox hemp bracelet (handmade by Shawn himself ^_^). I will be asking the five winners their wrist sizes so I can tell Shawn exactly how big to make each bracelet. (The <3 Vox bracelets shown in the photos were made specifically for examples.)
The first place winner will not only receive every prize listed in the list below, but he/she also has the opportunity to get several other special prizes as more raffle participants submit entries into the event. For example, once I note that 75 people have entered, the first place winner will receive a very rare prize: a Tokidoki fan signed by the artist himself, Simone Legno. That's why it's important that you enter, but it's also key that you tell your friends about Kawaii's very first Vox anniversary-- the more, the merrier! ^^
Here's everything each winner will receive:
First Place:
-
Blythe Petite Doll: Spring Chocolat
-
Froggy photo album
-
Short Cake + Cookie stationary set
-
Happy!! Candy stationary book
-
Mimippi bunny "checkbook" (notepad)
-

20 raffle entries made: 3 small photo prints of mine, all signed
50 raffle entries made: Unipo vinyl figure
75 raffle entries made: Signed Tokidoki fan
Second Place:
-

-
Hamster photo album
-
Cute Animals multi-sticker pack
-
Power Girls notepad
-
Kawaii kitty notebook (with handles that make it look like a shopping bag!)
-

-
<3 Vox hemp bracelet
Every winner will also receive a handwritten letter of congratulations (for winning) and thank you (for participating in) the event. ^__^
Third-Fifth Place:
-
<3 Vox hemp bracelet
For a better look at all of the prizes, check out the special Kawaii Event collection I made. I will be turning off comments on the individual photo pages, so please leave all of your comments/questions in this post.
When the Raffle Ends
Once again, the raffle takes place from August 3rd to August 10th (which is one week). At midnight on August 10th, the last day to enter the raffle, I will be closing down the event. Any entries that come in after that time will not be counted.
At noon on August 11th, I will be announcing the winner of the Kawaii at Vox event in a new post at my blog. The five winners will each receive an email from me to notify him/her of her placement. They will be expected to reply within at least two days after receiving the notification email. If they choose not to respond, I will be drawing new winners. (No worries, no prize will be lost!)
Depending on how long it takes for me to wrap up all the packages and when I have the time to send everything out, the packages should be on their way to the winners within a week of the raffle's end.
Thankies to You!
I would like to thank everyone who has left me comments, written me messages, and let me have the chance to get to know them. I feel honored to know so many sweet and gifted Voxers. Seriously, you guys-- you rock!
Good luck, and have fun! *pumps fist in the air*
Update
For updates on what's going on with the Kawaii raffle, check out the comments I leave with "Updates!" at the beginning. For now, I'd just like to thank everyone that has already signed up for the event. You've helped promote the event so much that this post landed a spot on the Explore page. =D *dances*

Or are they? A very special anniversary is only days away, and I will be spending quite a bit of time preparing for a Vox event to commemorate the day. For those of you who have particpated in past Kawaii at Vox events, you know what's ahead! This event, however, is going to be a little different from the rest, so be expecting some surprises along the way. ^__~
I won't be updating Kawaii very much until the special day, but I'll be here at Vox, reading your posts and commenting like crazy. Just know that I'm still here, catching up with your lives and working on something fun for everyone in the process.
Let the countdown begin!

I wanted to try something new with Vox so I decided to propose a little game, or in this case, challenge. There won't be any strict rules or guidelines for this challenge. I will ask, however, that all ideas suggested should be within reason. In other words, no risqué suggestions! ^__^ This is open to all Voxers, so feel free to leave a comment with your suggestion even if you aren't in my neighborhood.
This challenge will be held from today (March 3rd) to Thursday (March 8th).I have extended the challenge deadline because of my midterm period with classes, so I'll still be accepting ideas until Wednesday, March 14th.
The Challenge
Think up an idea for a photo. It can be crazy, weird, silly, serious, pretty, funny, exotic, dangerous, and any other adjective that comes to mind. I'm making my photography skills available to you so it's up to you to decide what you would like to see in my next entry. (So basically, I'm challenging you to challenge me.) Please keep in mind that my outside sources are limited because of the colder weather conditions where I live at the moment. I will still be able to go outside, but I won't be able to frolick in green fields for a photoshoot. (Haha, sorry.) You can keep the following suggestions in mind when trying to think up a photo:
-
Dolls (Blythes; Hue, my Pullip; Swiss, my BJD, etc.)
-
Vinyl toys (Dunnys, Mad*Ls, Tokidoki figures, Pinky Street figures, etc.)
-
Plushies
-
Yukimo, my hamster
-
Snow
-
Food
-
Me (Again, within reason please.)
-
Light
-
Nature/scenery
There are so many more ideas, too. Try to be as descriptive as possible in your comment while still leaving room for my own interpretation of what you're suggesting. The possibilities for this challenge are literally endless. Just tell me what your idea is!
What You Do
All you have to do is think up the idea and leave me a comment with your suggestion. There will be a limit of two ideas per person, but you can, of course, leave just one if you wish.
Any Prize?
I will be choosing three of the ideas from the bunch and will then make them a reality. I will pick the three according to what I think I'm capable of doing and the final results will also be based off of my interpretation of what your suggestions are. The three winners will be able to see the photos I take in a special entry dedicated to the results of this challenge.
There will be one ultimate winner of the three photos that are chosen. I will choose this winner from not only the creativity they put into his/her idea, but also the end result of that photo. Basically, whichever photo I feel has developed into the most creative piece of artwork will win the grand prize. The grand prize winner will then be mailed a hardcopy of that photo as a small print. (No shipping charges will be required.)
Keep in mind that I will edit the photo and may alter images as I see fit. I want to make sure each photo is perfect.
Privacy Policy
I will only ask for the address of the grand prize winner after he/she is chosen. If you win, you have the choice of accepting or rejecting the prize. If you do not feel comfortable giving your address away, don't worry about it. You're then welcome to print off the photo for yourself during your own time. ^___^

In order to muster up some money for a much-wanted dolly, I have decided to part with several personal items. I thought it would be fun to throw together a mock flea market, which is most likely a first for Vox. I'd love to know that the presence of my future dolly was made possible because of you lovely Voxers. I'm excited to start this, and if you have any questions, don't hestitate to ask.
Welcome to Kawaii at Vox's first Flea Market Sale, my second event here at Vox. ^___^ I'd like to welcome you to my store by showing you around. So please, feel free to browse, and make sure to ask any questions that arise. I'd be happy to answer anything you're wondering about! You'll most likely want to read through all the details if you are interested in a particular item, because that will clear up any confusion that make come up later on. I shall walk you through each section that I have arranged (with careful consideration and organization) so you can sit back and enjoy the products I have available. Thankies for reading/looking and have a good time. ^^
(Please make sure to do two things if you're interested in something you see: 1) leave a comment, and 2) email me and give me the name of what you would like to purchase.)

Fifth Booth: Vintage Rings (Miscellaneous Assortment)
Up for sale is a miscellaneous assortment of beautiful vintage rings that I have collected over the years. Before you receive one (or more) in the mail, the ring will be polished. Please make sure to note that any shine that is lost is due to old age, a factor that only makes each ring more stunning with its vintage and antique appeal. Keep in mind that this jewelry is vintage and can be considered costume jewelry, therefore, the status of every stone and metal may not be known. Also, please do not expect perfect condition, as if they were brand new. Part of the charm and appeal is the time-worn look. ^___^ This booth will be divided up into two sets. Please pay close attention to the details of each ring. More pictures of each ring in larger dimensions can be seen over my my Flickr account, which is located here.
Every ring is between a size four and five (unless otherwise noted).

- Sterling silver marcasite ring: Marcasites surround almost the entire ring, except for the back, which slowly fades into a smooth band of silver. The ring is marked 925 on the inside, which means that it is authentic sterling silver. (Price: $10.00 USD ON HOLD)
- Fashion turquoise ring: Two tear-shaped pieces wrap around to make the front of the ring. Whether this ring contains real turquoise is unknown. This is an unmarked ring so I cannot determine the true metal it is made out of. (Price: $5.00 USD SOLD)
- Mesh metal with fake diamond: This vintage ring wraps around and has an open back, which makes the ring easier to adjust to a few ring sizes. The stone is clear and looks like a diamond, although, the real stone is unknown, as is the metal. (Price: $5.00 USD)
- Silver amethyst-looking ring: This ring has a net-like front that wraps around into a smoother metal in the back. It is marked 925 on the inside, which means that is authentic sterling silver. This ring is size seven. (Price: $12.00 USD)

- Sterling silver with marcasites and clear stone: This ring contains several marcasites that surround the stone on each side in the center of the ring. The stone is not a real diamond, but it appears to be a clear stone that looks like one. The inside of the ring is marked with 925, which means that it is made of authentic sterling silver. (Price: $12.00 USD SOLD)
- Sterling silver with purple heart: This simple ring is made of sterling silver. It is marked with 925 on the inside of the ring, which means that it is authentic. The purple crystal looks like an amethyst, but the actual stone is unknown. This ring is size six. (Price: $8.00 USD ON HOLD)
- Fashion ring-- pearl with gold setting: The status of the "stone" is unknown, although it looks like a pearl that is surrounded by one diamond-looking stone on each side. The metal is a darker yellow, which gives it a gold appearance. The code 10KP is on the inside. (Price: $5.00 USD)
- Oblong blue/purple stone sterling silver ring: This ring is made of authentic sterling silver; it is marked 925 on the inside of the ring. The stone, although labeled as being unknown, looks as though it could be jade. (Price: $10.00 USD)
Sixth Booth: Diamond Heart Bracelets (Four Colors)

Up for sale is an Effy Collection special. Effy is a very well-known jewelry designer. My mom originally bought the last of these bracelets (in bulk, so there is more than one bracelet per color available). My mom only buys the best of the best of jewelry, so only expect beautiful diamonds with a lovely setting. These were originally priced at $149.98 per bracelet, but a special price will be offered here. They are all brand new and have only been removed from their boxes for photos. They will come with a box and their original Effy cards. There are four colors for sale (from left to right in the pictures): purple/lavender, pink, sky blue, and red. Here is the original description of the bracelets:
"This lavish bracelet is created in 14K white gold and features an open heart design with bead set diamonds measuring 9/16" x 9/16". This is set on a leather bracelet measuring 6-1/2 - 8-1/2"L x 1/2"W that comes in your choice of colors with an adjustable clasp and safety catch. There are eleven diamonds for a total diamond weight of approximately 0.055ct."
More photos of each bracelet at different angles (in larger dimensions) can be seen over at my Flickr account, which is located here.
Price (per bracelet): $40.00 USD
Seventh Booth: Photography Prints by Kawaii at Vox

And finally, I would like to offer my own artistic services. Up for sale is an offer to print off my photography (one or a few of your choice), photos that are located at my Flickr account in the following sets:
- Blythes
- Swiss (BJD)
- Pinkys
- Aesthetics
- Tokidoki
- Vinyl Toys
My Flickr account is located here. I do have the right to reject certain photos, mostly ones that contain my own image or any image of people in my life. I would prefer it if you would request any photos that contain inanimate objects. ^^; (I am also open to photos you may have seen in my Vox account, but I'll have to approve each photo first.) Make sure to email me the size of the photo you wish to have. If you would like, I can also determine the best size possible since I'm familiar with how my photography appears on paper. You may choose whether you would like glossy or matte prints!
Please take into account that each photo required quality photo paper, ink, time and effort.
Price (per photo): $5.00 USD

Thanks to everyone who entered the raffle for being so patient. (There were over 50 participants!) I had a battle with Vox today, and I'm pretty sure I lost. For some reason, the quality of the video I made (containing the results of the event) is extremely poor quality. YouTube and I also fought-- I guess today just isn't my day. Anyway, I thought you might like to follow the whole raffle process along, so I took a few photos from before the actual picking. Please view the video to find out who the winner is! (I suggest you turn up the volume. ^_^)

If the winner could please contact me in some way, preferably through email or the Vox messaging system, I would appreciate it. If I don't hear from you within the next few days, I'll make sure to message you myself. Congratulations to the winner! And thank you to all of you who participated in one of Kawaii's first events. ^____^
I'd also like to add a little thank you to those that wished me a happy birthday today. That's so sweet of you two remember. That means a lot to me. Hugs to all of you!

Here's an event for you-- I've decided to live up to my Vox name, Kawaii. I thought I would show my gratitude towards all of you wonderful Voxers, both my neighbors and anyone who I've yet to meet, by having a special holiday event. Because I couldn't send out Christmas presents to all of my awesome friends on here, I thought I would send my happy spirit and some fun kawaii love to those who I could not already reach. This event has been in the works now for a few weeks, and it will be taking place from today (December 19th) to my birthday (December 27th). Until then, I will not be posting, for this entry will stay up in order to give everyone the opportunity to join. Please read all the details. I need both a comment and an email! Here are the details:
Who
Every member of Vox may enter this raffle, whether he/she is in my neighborhood or not. Those of you who are in my neighborhood will have the special bonus of getting two tickets entered just by following the directions. Even if you aren't interested in the prize itself, there's bound to be a relative or friend who would appreciate this gift.
You will not be charged with any shipping. The only people who should be aware of putting money into this are those of you who are not within the United States. I am not responsible for any shipping taxes. I will be shipping the prize out with Priority mail (if you're within the states) or EMS (if you're outside of the country). If you're not comfortable with accepting a gift that may hold you responsible for taxes, simply don't enter. ^_^
*Keep in mind that I will not ask for every person's address. I will only be asking for the winner's address and will contact him/her through email once the raffle is over. Again, if you don't feel comfortable with the possibility of giving out your address, please do not enter. If you want some kawaii fun though, please read on!
What
This is a raffle! There is no charge whatsoever. The winner will receive a beautiful and very adorable Sanrio Sugarbunnies bag (8" x 6") stuffed with tons of kawaii items. Within the bag are eight items, all of which were bought specifically for this raffle. None of them are used or worn away-- all are brand new! The items inside are: three long notepads, one small notebook, a kitty tin case with a surprise inside, a miscellaneous bunny pack, a pack of 100 kawaii glitter stickers, and a cute bunny "checkbook" that's really a notepad. In total, the kawaii gift set is worth about $20-25.
Here's what you have to do:
-
Leave a comment in this entry with your name at the beginning (and you can write whatever else afterwards). This is to keep track of who is entered into the raffle for my own benefit.
-
Send me an email with both your Vox name and your full name, first and last. (milkeyes@gmail.com)
-
Please keep track of your number(s). I am not responsible for any lost ticket numbers.
-
Tell friends they can win a free gift, no charge! They can enter, too, as long as they have a Vox account.
-
Wait for the results. ^^
Here's what I'll be doing:
- I'll be keeping a list of those who enter with the comments that are left. (Please leave the requested comment. I want to make sure I get everyone's email and make sure none get sent into my junk box. I can keep a running tally this way.)
- Once you email me, I'll reply back to you with your raffle ticket number.
- For those of you who are in my neighborhood as of December 18th, I will give you two numbers.
Where
This event will only take place through Vox (and my email, tee hee). It will not be held on any other site. I will have the raffle at my house or apartment. I'm planning to host the raffle through a video entry, so those of you who are suspicious of me (haha) won't have to worry about helping people cheat. I want everyone to have equal opportunity in this event.
When
As stated before, this special Vox Raffle Event will be taking place from December 19th to December 27th. I will close the raffle entries most likely around noon on the final day.
Because of the holiday season and the rush that usually follows Christmas and New Year's Day, I'll most likely be sending the package out during the week of the new year, sometime between January 1st and January 5th.
Kawaii! Feel the love.

Happy holidays to those of you who enter and even to those of you who don't enter. ^_~ I hope you and your friends and family have a great and beautiful season. Stay kawaii, loves. Have fun!
